LibreOrganize 0.6.0 - Documentation

Please join your friends and neighbors in learning about the benefits of having a forest next door and helping it to remain an asset for generations to come.

We’re just getting started, and with this website and announcements, we hope to keep you informed when there’s news about nature that could have an impact on Brandymore Castle or your very own yard.

We hope to do this without charging dues, and we don’t intend to make any financial profit. We will try to keep emails to a minimum.

For those who cannot join us on a weekday, we have added an invasive plant removal and restoration session on the first Sunday of every month from 1 to 3 p.m. to augment our existing Every Last Weed, Every Last Wednesday sessions from 9 to 11 a.m. We hope you will sign up to volunteer at one of these sessions to help us keep this beautiful part of Madison Manor Park a thriving environment for flora and fauna.  These volunteer sessions are sanctioned by Arlington County’s Department of Parks and Recreation. If you’re an Arlington Regional Master Naturalist, Tree Steward of Arlington and Alexandria, or assigned to community service through Offender Aid and Restoration, you can earn volunteer credit for working with us. If not, you’ll earn the satisfaction of helping neighborhood nature.

Here's the registration link for Wednesdays or Sundays. Just scroll to the date you wish to volunteer.
