| Description | In honor of the late Kit Britton, who rallied other master naturalist volunteers to pull stiltgrass from parks, we invite you to join us in ripping up all the stiltgrass we can find on and around Brandymore Castle. The grass comes up easily, but it's seeds can remain viable for five years. This is our third year, and we saw good results after the second year. But there's always more to do, so we're pulling stiltgrass on four days in August: Wednesday, the 20th; Friday, the 22nd; Sunday, the 24th, and Tuesday, the 26th.
